This is unbelievable

Yes, I've definitely seen this while playing "Seek" and I'd kill them from a distance. Also, when I play "Red," I sometimes pull out a knife from a distance. There's a problem.


There are also problems with editing the map. Most people ask me to callvota next map.

I've encountered some weird things too which were new to me..
 
ye without network statistics, dates etc I can't even analyze. As this is "as of late", I assume it is egy interwebs melting down due to heat, nothing else tbh. No updates on server or mod.

Obviously I just think its the ranger of the network laggy I don’t think it’s happening to some ppl like with 20ping or smth but actually to me its happened a lot… so for sure its the netcafe network I think lol

The internet cafe has nothing to do with it but now we'll grow up a little and just play that's okay

Actually it does cuz it cant be nothing else.... If your pc is also old enough to run sof so its means alot but i just think thats why it happenes to you guys

Iam not talking about slow internet or anything like that the way you killed me isn't an internet issue do you understand? I've killed more than once this way and the internet is fine on both ends there's no problem but the way you killed me is the problem if it were an internet issue or something like that the killing would have been remote and i would understand the situation and there's no need to discuss it

What makes you so sure it is not an internet issue? The vids I’ve seen so far have been fully generic ranging issues which come from the sum of both the players pings. On the vid I saw, the sum was 200ms which is noticeable range already…

Janno ofc because i have been playing for a long time and i have a strong sense of the game i see that there is something wrong but ofc if you ask one of the old players they will agree with me the same opinion it is not only me who says this a lot of players are returning to the game and i asked everyone and everyone noticed that there is a mistake in the server maybe u dont believe this but iam gathered around most of the players who play in egypt and everyone around me and i know them all people who returned with unknown names and played for a short time and said the same question there is something incomprehensible those who returned to the game now know what iam saying but anyway the problem does not affect me a lot of them for me if i played for some time or an old player like me played for some time he will feel sorry and get bored and this speech does not apply to everyone because everyone is people who play for a short time this game it is impossible for them to have a sense of the game like the old player but anyway indeed like 20-25 player back again to play some agreed with me but anyway not a big problem maybe normal for some but for me i tell u what iam feel i have played this game like 17years so what iam going i play for fun now but we just talk if we can fix anything but anyway Good game and will stay good game for ever

My brother, I understand you completely, but you're forgetting the issue you raised. You didn't ask a question. You raised why this has been happening lately. So I'm telling you, I think most of the problem is that the game is relatively old, and there are a lot of people who mostly play Egyptian, have poor internet or the computer doesn't run the game well enough. That's my point, but...

differences of opinion are normal but reflecting hidden views doesn't fix anything you should study the matter carefully to agree with me your point of view will be relatively acceptable you may be right or you may be wrong from my perspective i see a clear difference perhaps due to the large number of egyptians the diversity of devices the frequent changes in internet connection from one device to another and the instability of the network for many which causes a malfunction in the system therefore we believe there is a problem

This is exactly what I was trying to explain. I'm not against what you sent. You're right. There is a problem and it's so annoying. But the only possibility is that it's happening because so many people are using the same internet. Probably, or the computer isn't running this game in good quality, and that's what's causing the problem. Don't forget. Oh and by the way I have to tell you why I'm so sure of what I'm saying because when people played back in the days it didn't happen in all types of games and me too when I played ctf or inf with people because the ping of mine and the location of my country it's what made my recoil look so weird and kill them in a way that doesn't make sense by the way. If you raising this issue I will try to see it ingame to understand your topic more

Then come back with actual evidence of a difference please. Also I’ve played sof far longer than you and I haven’t seen a single issue especially related to the issues you’re stating, but then again I haven’t hard nolifed h&s as well.

I added a minor change to the knife range to the weapon file, please let me know whether that made it better.

i have been playing for a very long time and i know very well what iam saying but we are talking about any files related to the game if we can solve it we will do it for a better game why iam interested because i have a cafe and soon the number of devices will be large and everyone in the cafe is complaining about this problem and all my friends who have a cafe are talking to me about the same problem but as i said for me the problem is a bit boring because we feel something strange and unusual but for me i would have stopped playing this game years ago but if i didn't have an internet cafe i would have stopped but by the nature of my work i stop then come back and stop then come back and now iam in the server to bring more players and bring back old players again because i know that many do not want me to stop the game and I am happy to see the game continuing so far and this is a good thing and we will help in everything if we see a mistake we can open a field for discussion and if we can solve any problem it will be a good thing and keep the server and players
