[Bug] Switching weapons in ctf

When switching weapons mid-fire, like going from a shotgun to an AK, the shotgun sometimes fires an extra shot as you're switching. It can be confusing, especially in the middle of a fight. For example, you take someone down, switch weapons, and suddenly hear another shotgun blast you didn’t actually fire.

Does anyone else experience this?

Yes that’s a known ‘client prediction’ error. This only happens to you and you only hear it, other clients do not hear your fake shot. I have not yet figured out (haven’t spent much time finding as well) to find out what causes it so I could fix it. Because it only happens on the client performing the action and is not broadcasted to others, I haven’t spent much time on it as well.

But still, thanks and still helpful once I do decide to find out the issue :)
 
Please retest this if possible - there's a potential fix deployed.

PS - also the weird water effect should be gone.
 
What was the cause in the first place? Talking about the water effect hh
Incorrect translation of entity types when tied together with event bits for sequencing. The weapon bug I assume had the same issue.
