Hey everyone,
We've just released another update for the custom maps.
After seeing how the previous mapcycle played out and reading all of your feedback, we decided to make some changes. We've rebuilt the mapcycle to make it smoother, more balanced, and overall more enjoyable to play.
The new mapcycle now includes 51 maps, featuring many of the community's favorites. We also changed the order of the maps to make downloading much easier for everyone.
Instead of playing several custom maps in a row, you'll now usually play 2 to 4 regular maps, followed by 1 custom map. This gives players enough time to automatically download upcoming maps while continuing to play, so by the time the custom map comes up, most players should already have it downloaded.
To make this work, please make sure you have ROX Anti-Cheat installed. You can download it here:

After that, open your console and type:
/cl_allowdownload 1
This enables automatic map downloads. If the server changes to a map you don't have, you'll see "Downloading..." on your screen. Just let it finish downloading and don't disconnect or close the game. Once it's done, you'll automatically reconnect to the server and continue playing.
If you'd rather download the maps manually, or if automatic downloading doesn't work for you, you can use the links below:
Soldier of Fortune II\base\
folder (or simply sof2/base), then launch the game and join the server normally.

If you find any bugs, broken spawns, out-of-map spots, or think a map should be changed or removed from the mapcycle, please let us know here. Every report helps us improve the server, and we'll continue updating the maps, adding improvements, and making adjustments based on your feedback.
