This will be the first rule because there is a possibility that someone will get triggered aka mad and start abusing admin powers. What I'm trying to say is to be mentally prepared. If someone is annoying you or someone is insulting you do not kick or ban. Give him a mute (5 minutes for the first time if he continues, add +5 minutes). Please, try avoiding banning players because we want to keep the player base (We will talk about that soon).
2) Spectate first before you force team someone for wallhacking
Yes, this might look wrong to do but as you know there are a lot of people playing from a net cafe and we want to keep the player base as I said before. Yes, you can still ban but please try to avoid this command as much as possible. Spectate first before you use admin powers against the player. If someone says: "This guy is wallhacking please ban", don't listen to him and spectate the guy who is cheating because his prediction can be wrong. When you are spectating someone for wallhacking be aware of his movements, looking through walls, not checking corners, and so on. Take your time and spectate as long as possible before you are 100% that he is using wallhacks. There are some scenarios where you can use the ban command. For example:
- If he is a known wallhacker.
- He used wallhack as a seeker and then he continues to use wallhack as a hider (If he is playing from the net cafe and he won't stop using wallhack as a hider or seek then try to talk to him. If he doesn't answer then just kick. DO NOT BAN!).
3) What to do if you see an admin cheating?
This happens sometimes but still, you have to know what to do in this situation. Either you are an admin or not you have to report it to higher staff members with clear evidence. Screenshots are not enough. We strongly recommend you record a demo with wallhacks enabled. Please, if that's your friend who has an admin and you know he is using cheats you shall not protect him. He will be punished unless you are hiding from us for a long time which means you will slowly lose our trust. Don't be afraid to report your friend. He is responsible for this and not you. You will do the right thing and we will appreciate your help.
4) Help others if they need something!
As an admin, it's not always about banning, kicking, muting, etc. Your main duty apart from using admin powers is that you help others. If you know the answer to their questions, then kindly answer back. Your help is appreciated. Remember your Trial period is monitored and we will be looking into everything. We don't need useless admins, don't we? You can even help 3D with new ideas on how to improve the server or with maps (If you know how to edit them).
5) Your behavior is monitored frequently
This rule is for everyone. We are a friendly community with "strict" rules about applying, trial period, and so on. Your behavior can impact your application either before or after. If you intend to become part of the 3D Team we expect from you a nice personality. Admins who become toxic, triggered, mad, and start insulting players are not welcome. Control your emotions and don't use the admin's powers on players for nothing, this will result in punishment (Warn 3x times -> Kick from the team). This rule applies to rule Nr. 1. Yes, we do monitor your behavior.
For applicants:
- Your behavior will be always monitored before we make sure you meet the requirements.
- Do not ask admins to vote for you
- Do not ask admins to comment on your application
- Be patient (Even when the poll is opened for you)
- Follow forum and server rules
- Control your emotions!
- Do not insult/be toxic/mad and so on
- Do not use any cheats (Wallhacks, Aimbot...)
- Stay active on the server!
NOTE: We monitor the applicant's activity and behavior on the server. If we find out that you are being inactive or using cheats, we are allowed to deny the application without further notice!
For admins and trial admins:
- Your behavior is always monitored.
- Help others
- Follow admin, server, and forum rules
- Do not fun abuse
- Do not insult players
- Do not use any cheats (Wallhacks, Aimbot...)
- Do not ask for a promotion or when the trial period will be over
- Do not protect your friend or anyone with the wallhacks!
NOTE: If we find out that you have been using wallhacks on the server you will be instantly kicked from the team and you are not allowed to re-apply again within the given time.
6) Your English knowledge should be good
Some of you might indeed have trouble speaking English and we understand that. But your knowledge should be enough good for us and the players otherwise it will be hard to communicate with you. Of course, you can use Google Translator but keep in mind that it doesn't translate 100% accurately.
