Yes, that also works very well.
Infact that's what I've been using the entire time, but assuming that he's using win 7 or older made me rule that option out

I use fraps to record demo's because in demo's I can change point of view and speed more easily. But I cant open a single demo because of that error.

I remember that i had encountered this problem before and I changed the whole game i mean downloaded a new copy of sof2 ( maybe the old demos will not work, but when you record a new one i think it will), try this and play a demo maybe it will work !
