    that's already done. Rate and snaps values what the player sets are ignored and instead the server enforces its own values.

    its not only in sof. But the main reason is because internet was slow as fuck during early 2000's. So you were able to steer the rate and snaps the server sends. Rate defines how much data at once can you manage, while snaps handles how often you get the state updates.

    hahahahahah but thats the point - there are about ~400 models which you can turn into. You're lucky = you turn into a tree. You're unlucky? You turn into a fish.... in mp_col1.... where there are no fish....

    Knife range is knife range. It is supposed to affect both teams. It's not like I'll hand hiders a 100 meter knife and then a 5cm one for seekers. So, if I reduce knife range, it effectively reduces the knife range for both teams. So, you get killed with less range, but you stun with less as well.

    It can have slight differences with 1fxmod vs 1fxplus for sure. Also we have different recoils for different gametypes. on ND gametypes, we run SoF2 original recoil files currently.

    that depends on what are you comparing with what. Core gameplay hasn't changed, at least I hope it hasn't. Gametypes, damages, weapon ranges etc has changed for sure
