As a lot of you been aware, 3D was down for a couple of days, up until a temporary server appeared. Forums were down during that time as well.

A fire broke out in our server provider datacenter. The fire took out one building completely and severely damaged 4 rooms in another building. As it turns out, our server was in SBG2 building, which was fully destroyed.
Thanks to yours truly being a noop and not having a plan B nor a plan C, not following any of the norms / standards of server hosting, not applying 3-2-1 rule, presuming that 3D will die before I ever need it, I didn't have any backups made. I used to have, but the latest backup from a year ago sits on a hard drive which itself is dead. Even although I have copies of a lot of things, all of the applications included, it did not include a backup of the whole database. Thanks to that unfortunate scenario, all the posts, all the data, everything from 2014 up until today is unfortunately gone.
Plan forward is that we will try to rebuild everything from the ground up and get us functioning as soon as possible. Thanks to us missing the list of our members as well, we are going to have to make some changes to our application process, as we can't have a dead team for multiple weeks just because applying to us requires a certain standard and not everyone gets a free pass in this server. Therefore we are going to start recruiting straight in the server on the ground rule that you have to be a member in the forums. You will get a trial rank easily but you will be monitored nevertheless. Members who we can verify that they are old members, will get their ranks back. When we achieve a certain level of normalcy, we will revert back to old rules.
Up until that, lets hope it is all smooth sailing from now on.
